Duty Description: Tank Section Sergeant, equivalent to a Platoon Sergeant, in an Opposing Force Battalion which provides opposition forces for all units in theater; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, and training of 11 soldiers; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of five M60A3 Main Battle Tanks and their associated equipment valued in excess of $7,750,000; assists in the training of the Threat Tank Platoon to expand its War Fighting proficiency under field conditions.

Duty Description: Master Gunner for a forward deployed tank company based in USAREUR; responsible for the planning and training of all gunnery related tasks for 68 Soldiers and 15 tanks; serves as the company commander's technical advisor on both gunnery related subjects and maintenance of tank turrets; maintains all gunnery related data that pertains to the M1A1 fire control system; additionally responsible for 5 Soldiers and 2 vehicles as the NCOIC of the company headquarters section.

Duty Description: Platoon Sergeant in an infantry battalion which provides OPFOR for all units in theater with further duties equal to that of a First Sergeant; responsible for the health, welfare, discipline, and training of 12 NCOs and 25 Soldiers; responsible for the maintenance and accountability of 12 M60A3 tanks and their ancillary equipment valued in excess of $22,000,000; ensures the platoon maintains its warfighting proficiency as a threat tank platoon in simulated combat conditions; performs the duties of the First Sergeant in his absence.

Duty Description: Mobile Gun System Platoon Sergeant assigned to a Stryker Battalion Combat Team; responsible for the welfare, development, and training of 12 crew members; assist in the planning, preparation, and execution of all individual and collective training in preparation for rapid real world deployments; assist in the tactical employment of platoon's assigned weapons systems and personnel; enforces quality control over the maintenance and accountability of assigned vehicles, weapons, and equipment valued at 8 million dollars.
